By Ann:<\/strong><\/a><\/em><\/span><\/span> There are moments in life when everything becomes quiet enough for us to hear what has been hidden beneath all the noise. <\/p>\n

In those moments, I think about love\u2014not simply the kind of love found in stories, but the kind of love that survives questions, uncertainty, silence, distance, and the passing of time.<\/p>\n

We are taught to measure everything. We measure seconds, minutes, hours, days, months, and years. We created clocks and calendars to give structure to our lives and to help us understand the passing of time. We say something happened yesterday, something is happening today, and something will happen tomorrow.<\/p>\n

But love does not always seem to understand time in the same way that we do.<\/p>\n

A memory can bring someone back in an instant. A song can make ten years disappear. A photograph can open a door to a moment that seemed lost forever. A feeling can return without asking permission.<\/p>\n

This makes me wonder whether the heart has its own sense of time.<\/p>\n

Perhaps time is something human beings created to organise our existence, while love belongs to something much deeper. Time can tell us how long something has lasted, but it cannot always tell us what that something truly means.<\/p>\n

That is where my readings and my crystal ball become meaningful to me.<\/p>\n

I believe the crystal ball is a symbol of intuition, reflection, possibility, and mystery. When I look into it, I am not saying that every image or impression is an absolute guarantee of what will happen. The future is not something any of us can completely control or know with certainty.<\/p>\n

But the experience of looking can still be real.<\/p>\n

The emotions are real.<\/p>\n

The hope is real.<\/p>\n

The intuition we experience can be deeply meaningful, even when we cannot explain exactly where it comes from. I believe that God, Jesus Christ, and the Archangels work through the universe to guide and inspire us.<\/p>\n

A crystal ball can become a doorway to reflection. It gives the imagination somewhere to travel and gives us the opportunity to ask questions we might otherwise be afraid to ask.<\/p>\n

Sometimes the most important message from a reading isn’t about what will happen tomorrow.<\/p>\n

Sometimes it is about what we already feel today.<\/p>\n

A reading can bring forward hope that we have buried. It can reveal fears we have been carrying. It can encourage us to look at a relationship, a decision, or a dream from a different perspective.<\/p>\n

And sometimes the message is very simple:<\/p>\n

Turn the light on.<\/p>\n

Turn the light on so you can see.<\/p>\n

Turn the light on so you can understand.<\/p>\n

Turn the light on so you can finally look at something without fear.<\/p>\n

For years, I have wondered why two people can stand in front of the same truth and see completely different things.<\/p>\n

One person sees love.<\/p>\n

Another sees confusion.<\/p>\n

One person sees possibility.<\/p>\n

Another sees impossibility.<\/p>\n

One person says, “I know.”<\/p>\n

Another says, “You’re wrong.”<\/p>\n

Perhaps neither person is deliberately lying.<\/p>\n

Perhaps they are simply standing in different places, looking at the same light.<\/p>\n

That is where love becomes powerful.<\/p>\n

Love does not always demand that we agree.<\/p>\n

Sometimes love asks us to listen.<\/p>\n

It asks us to leave the door open.<\/p>\n

It asks us to consider that another person’s experience may be different from our own. <\/p>\n

And when love is strong enough, it can survive the words we fear most:<\/p>\n

“You are wrong.”<\/p>\n

Being told that you are wrong does not necessarily mean your heart is wrong.<\/p>\n

Sometimes it simply means that someone else cannot yet see what you see.<\/p>\n

Of course, that does not mean we should never question ourselves.<\/p>\n

True understanding requires us to reflect, to listen, and to remain open to the possibility that we might learn something new.<\/p>\n

That is another reason I return to my crystal ball.<\/p>\n

It reminds me that certainty is not always the greatest gift.<\/p>\n

Sometimes the greatest gift is remaining open to wonder, allowing love to guide us, and trusting that the light will reveal what we are ready to see when the time is right.<\/p>\n

Because in the end, time may measure our lives, but love gives them meaning.<\/p>\n
