Any amount of love can offer a healing force to your soul and well-being. This is why love is so powerful and necessary in our lives. Needing love is a natural reaction; wanting and needing someone to love and care for you is something we all require at some point in our lives. Simply showing care and love to someone can help them immensely and change lives over time with ongoing support.<\/p>\n

Illness and sickness can come on suddenly, leaving you feeling lost, stuck, lonely, and wondering if anyone cares anymore. The appearance of various friends and family in your hospital room come and go, making you question their motives\u2014do they think this is it, or are they genuinely trying to care? It can be confusing when some only appear once.<\/p>\n

However, as we delve into the depth and truth of love, we see that even a single instance of love may be enough in some situations. Love, in the form of caring, helping, listening, or small gifts of affection, can flow through us like an energy, helping us feel the need to heal or endure overwhelming medical procedures. <\/p>\n

Tiny gifts or acts of love can feel warm and caring, lifting us temporarily out of a state of constant worry about our health or what the doctors and nurses will say next. Having someone close to you, holding your hand, can be uplifting even if they can’t be there all day and night; it can feel like a warmth flowing from them to you.<\/p>\n

Love is more powerful than anything else. Whether given once or continuously, it is an energy that can help heal the traumas of illness and motivate someone to fight and get better. This applies not just to sickness but to life directions in general.<\/p>\n

Therefore, it’s important to give what you can to someone sick or troubled to help them out of the hole they may be stuck in. Don’t give up on them if they don’t want to talk much or ask you to leave them alone. Take a breath, give them some space, and try again until they find the will to carry on themselves.<\/p>\n
