The only exception to this is a life-endangering situation, where we could die before our time. Angels and Archangels come to your assistance the moment you call them. You can call archangels with your mind” or out loud but always keeping in mind God and Jesus Christ is the most high in Spirit beings and God made archangels and angels like him or herself.

It goes like this;

God

Jesus Christ

Archangels

Angels

Humans

And do not forget angels appear in response to your call, often before you have finished calling them.

Also remember when you say something that you speak it is like a court of law whatever you say you create. Remember to be specific in what you ask for the Archangels are not one to be messed around Angels only help when you give clear asking and have no doubts then they will deliver what you have been asking for.
