There will be times that test us, when we feel frustrated with our partners, when something said by our significant other is is heard as something completely different to what we intended\u00ad Misinterpretation. Misinterpretation is a powerful word. It is what often times creates the great test within our relationships. It is natural to misinterpret something said, we all make this mistake in our relationships. However we do have the option of control, and control comes from awareness. To be aware in conversation in communication is like making a conscious decisionto be intelligent. Awareness allows us to think before we speak, to think about what we say, to express something in a way that is clear, that is not hurtful, but that allows a message to be heard. To understand is key, to see our partners understanding is proof that our awareness is on point, and that theirs is too. As awareness goes both ways.<\/p>\n
All negativity is caused by an accumulation of psychological time and denial of the present. Unease, anxiety, tension, stress worry\u00ad these are all forms of fear\u00ad they are caused by too much future thought and not enough presence.Guilt, regret, resentment, grievances, sadness, bitterness, and all forms of non forgiveness are caused by too much past and not enough presence. To have presence and be more present within one\u2019s life is to have\u00ad awareness.
\nAgain, the importance of awareness really does equate to great undeniable contentment in life. And that word we all strive to have in life\u00ad or at least all want\u00ad Happiness.<\/p>\n
There were some great words spoken by a spiritual leader\/author Eckhart Tolle\u00ad \u201cThe primary cause of unhappiness is never the situation, but the thought about it. Be aware of the thoughts you are thinking. Separate them from the situation, which is always neutral,It is as it is.\u201d If you are stuck within a relationship that has little awareness, arguments, unhappiness, you feel you are not being understood, you are always misinterpreting each other, then there is a way out\u00ad it is firstly becoming aware of yourself, your surroundings and most importantly your significant other, Once aware talk to your partner about how you feel be honest be direct and tell them what you seek, the good things they make you feel, the things you want to feel, be kind, be open, be positive, ask them if they could become a little more aware and think about things before they are said, perhaps if you both feel something could be misinterpreted don\u2019t say it, instead think about a way you could show it or say it in a way that will be understood. Kindness is an important virtue we must learn to use more in life, it is something we all have yettend to lack in our relationships,Kindness. Be Kind even in moments of great unintelligence (Negativity) a little kindness will always go a long way.<\/p>\n
