By Ann: There is something deeply powerful about beginning again.
Every month, the Moon disappears from our view, becoming almost completely invisible in the night sky. This is the New Moon—a quiet point in the lunar cycle that has long been associated with beginnings, intention, renewal, and planting the seeds of what we wish to create.
The New Moon invites us to stop, become still, and ask ourselves a simple but powerful question:
What do I want to create now?
Manifesting Under the New Moon
Under the New Moon, you can focus your energy and attention on what you truly desire. But manifestation is more than simply wishing for something and hoping it arrives.
Manifestation begins by seeing it in your mind first.
Close your eyes and allow yourself to imagine the life, experience, relationship, opportunity, or change that you want to bring into your reality. See it clearly. Imagine what it would feel like to have it. Allow yourself to connect with the emotion of already experiencing what you desire.
Then write it down.
Put your intention onto paper. You can write it as a letter, a declaration, or a personal message describing exactly what you are calling into your life. Writing gives your thoughts somewhere to go. It turns something invisible in your mind into something tangible.
Then, when the New Moon appears, bring your written intention back to it.
The New Moon marks the beginning of a new lunar cycle. It is a symbolic time to plant the seeds of your desires and intentions. Each time a New Moon comes around, you have another opportunity to revisit what you have written, reconnect with your vision, and place that intention back into the cycle of creation.
The important part is not simply writing the words.
It is seeing it, feeling it, believing in the possibility of it, and continuing to hold the intention while taking action towards it.
The Moon moves through its cycle, and so do we.
What begins as an idea can become an intention. An intention can become a choice. A choice can become an action. And through repeated attention and action, something that once existed only in your imagination can begin to take shape in your life.
The New Moon is your invitation to begin again.
See it. Write it. Feel it. Release it into the cycle—and then allow yourself to create.
Manifestation Begins with Intention
When we manifest, we are giving our attention to something we want to create, experience, or embody.
The New Moon can be used as a monthly reset—a moment to move from unconscious wishing into conscious intention.
Instead of simply saying, “I want more money,” you might ask:
What would financial freedom feel like to me?
Instead of “I want love,” you might explore:
What kind of relationship do I want to create, and how do I want to feel within it?
Instead of “I want my life to change,” you might ask:
What is the first change I am willing to make?
The clearer your intention becomes, the easier it is to recognise the choices, opportunities, and actions that support it.
Love & light,
Ann
