Who Am I And What Should I Be Doing?

By Sue: “What is my path? What is my Destiny? Am I on the right path?” Many people contact psychics to ask these questions.

People often believe that they have a certain pre-ordained path through life, and they must figure out what that is and begin on that path. It can become an obsession for some, their minds never resting from the search. They may even travel overseas seeking a Guru, hoping to find themselves, and figure out their life path. Disappointment often follows as the Guru says “The answers are within you”.

Much confusion, then ensues as people rack their brains trying to figure out the answers to these questions. For some, eventually a life crisis occurs, breaking down this mental occupation with figuring things out, bringing them to intense emotions that they cannot ignore.

If this crisis continues long enough, or comes at just the right time, it can finally bring the awareness that has been sought for so long. The answers to these sorts of questions come from self-connection, which is a feeling based thing; it does not come from a logical thought process. You can try to think this through, but the answers will not be found until you begin to feel what is within you. Often this starts with discontent.

This fast world we live in now has made people so mind centered that they have lost all connection with their feelings. That connection, or reconnection is what they need to find… for some it will be the first time. Until this connection is found, the mind will just keep spinning, the same questions continuing to repeat and a feeling of hopelessness grows for some. You will know you aren’t happy, but not what to do about it.

No-one wants trauma in their lives, however it can be a great awakener, and a great gift. It brings us back to our feelings and then hopefully, finally, we get it! From there, the answers can be found through learning to grow that self-connection, the self-awareness that leads to fulfillment.

If you are struggling to connect with yourself, not feeling like you are living your truth, you may just need some help to get started. Letting go of preconceived notions of who you should be or where you should be at by now, is a great place to start. You are exactly where you need to be right at this moment. Discontent shows you that your life no longer satisfies you, and that is because there is more waiting for you.

If you are unhappy in life, know that this in itself is a positive sign… a sign that there is more to be found. Don’t be afraid of change, take some deep breaths and be brave, look into yourself more deeply and find what is calling you.

What often begins as a logical, rigid search for direction and fulfillment, finally becomes gentle feelings of self-love & connection, allowing you to flow into the new you.
